Today made it day 4 into the ongoing Euros 2020 and we have seen what might turn out to be the best Goal of the Tournament.
Monday, the 14th of June, in the Group D match between Scotland Vs Czech Republic, German Bundesliga player, Patrick Schick, wowed the fans at the Hampden Park Stadium with his thunderbolt strike. The Bayern Leverkusen Striker scored his first Goal of the match in the closing stage of the first half.
As proceedings began in the second half, everyone expected Scotland to get a good result in their first major Tournament match in 23 Years, that was when Schick decided to wreck more havoc to the Scotland team, by pulling another stunt in 52 minutes to bring his tally to two goals.
Just about the halfway line, approximately 50 yards, the crowd witnessed an absolute stunner with the goal, leaving the Scotland goal keeper, David Marshall, helpless and tangled at the back of his net.
This goal happens to be the furthest distance from which a goal has been scored on record at the European Championship since 1980.
