The Police in Adamawa State have arrested an 18-year old boy, Ayuba Hamza, for allegedly molesting a 4-year old girl in Jabbi-lamba village, in the Girei LGA of the state.
The command’s spokesperson, DSP Suleiman Nguroge, in a statement on Sunday, June 6, said,
"the suspect was arrested on Friday, June 4, 2021. He took advantage of the baby following the seperation of her parents that brought her under the care and custody of her grandmother.
Investigation reveals that the suspect being a close neighbour of the victim, committed the offence twice before he was caught. The grandmother who caught the suspect in the act, cried and attracted the attention of some neighbors which resulted to the suspect's arrest by the police at Jabbi-lamba,” he added.
